New Balance Kit
I am a New Balance Ambassador (lucky girl!) and little little while back I was sent a load of products to train and sweat in and see what I like the best and what works for me.
Even before I started working with New Balance I pretty much lived in activewear but it has now got to the point where friends have asked me if I even own a pair of jeans (I do but leggings are just SO much more comfortable).
The features I am always looking for in my fitness wardrobe include:
- Versatility (I need to go from gym to meeting to date night without being smelly or sweaty or uncool)
- Durability - As I mentioned, I live in my activewear, it needs to stand the test of time which may or may not include outdoor workouts and rolling around in the (often wet and muddy) grass.
- Stability - I go from squats to lunges to deadlifts to sprints. And I do a lot of stretching and a fair amount of dancing too. I need the clothes to stay put - there is nothing worse than having to disturb a heavy PB (personal best) deadlift weight, to adjust my clothing.
Luckily my New Balance wardrobe ticks all these boxes.
My Fresh Foam Zante’s are cool enough to wear to brunch, lunch and even a casual dinner because they are black, chic and neat, meanwhile I am also able to lift and sprint in them with correct support and flex. It’s essentially a running shoe (a fast one at that) but it has felt comfortable enough for me to do my weight training in as well.
Of all the crop tops available at New Balance I think this floral print racer back is one of my favourites - I don’t really need support on top, and I wasn’t blessed with big womanly goddess breasts so I don’t like padding or a tight fit. This crop is comfy and cute. It’s made with NB Dry a carefully created material that pulls moisture from the body, while also keeping the garment dry. Not going to lie, boob sweat doesn’t feel great - this crop helps me feel fresh no matter the temperature.
